Seventh Week of Epiphany

Scripture: Genesis 45:3-11, 15; Luke 6:27-38

Key verse:“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” (Luke 6:27)

Questions to ponder:

  • Knowing the biblical definition of ‘evil’: offensive and harmful deed and intents against God’s Will and God’s People. As a person of faith, how would you define or describe ‘enemies’?
  • How could we let our enemies bring not the worst but the best in us? What are our deeds and intents may cause others to see us as their enemies?
  • The word ‘credit’ in Luke 6:27-38 is the same as the biblical word ‘grace’ in Greek. What does the verse 6:35 tell us about our God?
