Reconciling in Christ

In 1984 Lutherans Concerned / North America, now known as "Reconciling Works", started the Reconciling in Christ ("RIC") Program to recognize Lutheran congregations that welcome lesbian, gay, queer and transgender believers. The Prince of Peace congregation voted in 2009 to become a Reconciling in Christ congregation. This is our welcoming statement:

At Prince of Peace we celebrate
God’s grace to all humanity
in all our diversity, including
ethnicity, culture,
sexual orientation, gender identity
and differing abilities.
